Mete Block (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Mete Block mobile application (the “App”). Our core philosophy is “Local First”: the App does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All gameplay data stays on your device.
2. Information We Collect
The App does not collect any personal information and does not require an account, sign-in, or network connection to play.
2.1 Locally Stored Information
To provide core functionality, the App stores the following data locally on your iOS device (using UserDefaults and the file system):
- Game progress: saved games, level progress, and high scores.
- App settings: your in-app preferences.
Note: This data remains strictly on your device. We have no servers and cannot access it. Unless you perform a system backup (e.g., via iCloud), this data is never transmitted off your device, and it is never synchronized to any server operated by us.
3. No Tracking, Analytics, or Third-Party Services
- The App does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- The App does not track you across apps or websites, and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
- The App does not collect device identifiers for advertising or profiling.
- The App contains no in-app purchases and displays no advertisements.
4. Children’s Privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and may be used by parents together with their children. Because the App does not collect any personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction). 5. Your Rights and Choices
Because all data is stored only on your device, you remain in full control:
- Access: All your data lives on your device and is reflected directly in the App (e.g., saved games and scores).
- Deletion: You may permanently remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting (uninstalling) the App.
6. Data Retention
Locally stored data is retained on your device until you delete the App or clear the data from within the App. We do not retain any of your data because we never receive it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via in-app notices or version update logs. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
